About Anna
Through story-telling and shared reflection, Anna strives to create a space in which emotions are acknowledged, lives are celebrated, and a sense of togetherness emerges.
Hi, I’m Anna
I have been working as a celebrant in Port Douglas and surrounding areas for 9 years and completed my training as a Death Doula in 2021. My work as a funeral celebrant has taught me that a ceremony done in a way that truly honours the life of those passed can offer great comfort and healing to those saying goodbye.
Honouring life through ceremony is a deeply humbling experience and serves as a constant reminder of how precious our time here together is.
REFLECTIONS
We are all in this together
Through my experiences with death, both personally and through my work I have come to see great courage, beauty and connection shared between people facing this most raw element of our human experience.
It is a privilege to be a part of it, and it is my hope that collectively, as we face death, we can do so with courage, support and eventually acceptance and peace.
